When Petra Mohylova wore one of her designs during the 100-Year Gala at the famed Obecni Dum, attention was the focus on her attire. She was wearing a collector piece which she made with platinum-white hues of pearls and a matching 99% handmade silver. Many call it a masterpiece.
The gala gathering at the lavishly decorated Art Nouveau building was attended by some of the most respected Freemason members who came all the way from Scotland. It was the theme of the day at the old town.
According to Noubikko, fashion designer and supplier of the pearls to Petra Mohylova, the intense impact of her design will endure a timeless appeal and insures another century of beauty for the organization. He calls it true collector edition.
The 100-year celebration honors a very special day of celebration among members whom they call Brethren. Petra Mohylova was inspired and created an exclusive jewelry for the uniqueness of the occasion. If it happens every 100 years, then the collection must represent not just a day to remember, but must have a century to endure, she said.
When asked why she has chosen pearls and silver for the centennial design, she paused and smiled. And said, the organization which for many centuries is known to be a secret society may now have another secret to keep, she joked.
Is the jewelry up for sale? She said, it's never crossed her mind but said the rest of the collection will be shown and are available for sale soon.
